Abstract

The article discusses the concept and the main conceptions of the digital economy. The authors offer a new approach to digitalization interpreted as a wide-spread social phenomenon. The research idea was to study not only the traditional economic and technological components of digitalization, but to accent its socio-ethical aspects. Digitalization changes much economic structure, traditional markets and besides causes radical transformations in the system of social relations. At the stage of the digital economy and digital society fundamental social and ethical problems are formed. These problems are vitally important for modern civilization. Therefore, the article discusses their risks and perspectives. Socio-ethical problems must be necessarily considered when forecasting the prospects for the digital economy development. In the case of their positive solution the digital economy will develop successfully and the digital transformation of the human being will lead to its positive changes.
