Abstract
The project management is considered as a tool for the implementation and development of strategic transformation. Therefore, it finds application in various fields of activity such as manufacturing, marketing and innovation activities, the social sphere. The existence of developed organizational measures and procedures, including internal audit, allows in a preventive manner to focus management attention on risky areas of project management and determine activities to optimize the performance of company to achieve its goals and strategy. In these conditions, a risk-based project management audit becomes a priority for increasing the efficiency of the business. In present work we examine the key areas and control procedures of project management audit based on the analysis of risks inherent in the project.
