Abstract
The transfer project ArePron tends to monitor and effect the resource consumption in production networks with the help of digitalization tools. Furthermore, the successful information transfer in the industry is essential. Therefore, user interfaces for the targeted presentation of information are investigated and a development process for user interfaces is introduced. The project findings and the development process are the basis for the creation of new business models. With the help of the construct of product-service systems, that is analyzed in this paper, potential services in ArePron are defined and presented.

The transfer project “ArePron – agile resource efficient production network” is approved by the Hessian Ministry of Economics, Energy, Transport and Regional Development (HMWEVL) and financed by the European Regional Development Fund (ERDF) and the Hessian Ministry. The project is a collaboration between the Department of Computer Integrated Design, the Department of Material Flow Management and Resource Economy and the Institute of Production Management, Technology and Machine Tools. The project started in January 2018 and ends in December 2020.
