Abstract
Purpose. In recent years, women have frequently been murdered outside, which has aroused widespread concern of the society. In view of women’s safety problems, the safety protection products suitable for women’s going out are designed, so as to prevent the infringement and further stop the criminal intention. Method. The paper analyzes the product design process according to the user demand level. Firstly, data are collected by questionnaire and user interview, and typical users are selected. Secondly, analyze and summarize the data of their life style, living form, personality characteristics and user requirements to form a user structure classification form. The analytic hierarchy process (AHP) model of user demand is established, and the evaluation indexes of each factor are constructed. In addition, the importance indicators of each factor level in user requirements are quantified. Finally, the important demand factors of female users in safety protection products are extracted and applied in product practice. Conclusion. The study discusses and studies the safety protection of women when they go out. In the system design process, combined with the analytic hierarchy process of user requirements, the analysis results are applied to the product design practice, so as to design the safety protection products that further meet the requirements of women users.
