Abstract

This study mainly includes document analysis, user research, case study and design evaluation. It analyzes the perceptive and cognitive law of the elderly from the perspective of the cognitive characteristics of the elderly. This paper analyzes the changes in the elderly’s behavior characteristics caused by the dynamic changes of their physical function and cognitive ability, builds a mental model based on the laws of the elderly’s cognitive characteristics, and then combines these changes with the elderly-oriented design principles to analyze the feasibility of designing intelligent products for the elderly.
