C4t: Safe Behavior Performance Tool

Abstract

The behavior in the work is the result of the typology of the “human substrate”, of the subjective variables formatted by the culture and of the cognitive aspects to the accomplishment of the task. The need to design supervisory systems to control critical processes requires a prediction of future team behavior. This work aims to present a tool called C4t for diagnosis and construction of barriers against unsafe acts that generate accidents and incidents. After consulting the available literature, the four bases were defined: Commitment, Communication, Competence and Cooperation for the composition of this tool. C4t can project the gaps in human behavior and help the operation manager make decisions about adjusting performance modeling factors.
