Abstract

The paper shows the implementation maintenance plan in a production enterprise. It discusses the implementation of its particular tasks - what was implemented and what were the effects on output indicators such as availability, waste and efficiency. It presents the implemented tools in the company to support prevention policy such as yellow cards (which were used to report machine problems), inspection standards, or failure cards. The analysis of them provides a valuable source of information which problems have to be eliminated. In the paper, the authors also present how the approach to preventive maintenance has changed among the company’s employees - particularly in the department of maintenance and production in the course of six years.
