Abstract

The dependableness of wireless sensor network (WSN) is tormented by faults that will occur due to numerous reasons like malfunctioning hardware, computer code glitches, dislocation and environmental hazards. The WSN that is not ready to agitate such things may suffer from some serious issues or can lead to hazardous consequences in important application contexts. The faults occurring in the sensor nodes are due to the sensor itself and the harsh environment. So as to confirm the network quality of a service, it is necessary for the WSN to detect the faults and to take actions to avoid more degradation of the service. The goal of this paper is to find the faults within the wireless sensor networks and provide the fault tolerance techniques.
