Abstract

The circuit design is part of curriculum of large number of engineering students. The evaluation of circuit design assignments is time consuming as large number of students are enrolled in engineering. It is difficult for teacher to check all permutations and combinations of circuit due to time constraint. Automatic evaluation of circuit designs is thus an important topic in academic research. This paper proposes the automatic evaluation system that evaluates circuit design and allocates marks based on evaluation logic used in an online system. To create circuit design, the researchers are using the eSim EDA tool. Electronic circuit design has been evaluated using logical as well as functional evaluation. The evaluation of circuits can be done according to components list, connectivity of components and generated graph. The online evaluation system provides support to both students and faculties. The system also saves a lot of effort and time of teachers.
