Abstract

Congenital airway malformations comprise a broad array of anomalies extending from the larynx to the distal airway, presenting either acutely postnatally or remaining asymptomatic and therefore undiagnosed for years. Clinical symptoms vary widely, depending on the level where the obstruction occurs and its severity. Due to the distinct anatomy of the pediatric airway and the possibility of airway symptoms rapidly progressing into life-threatening conditions, early detection, diagnosis, and treatment are imperative.
