Abstract
Astrology was considered to be an important tool for medical practices over the centuries. Since the twelfth century when European intellectuals got access to a great amount of previously unknown magical, astrological, and medical texts, the link between astrology and medicine had remained firm. Referring to the medieval tradition, Renaissance scholars at the same time enriched the astro-medical discourse with new interpretations and sources.
