Abstract
Agostino Steuco – Canons Regular of the Lateran, Counter-Reformation humanist, Biblical scholar, and prefect of the Vatican Library – was undoubtedly one of the most representative thinkers in the history of Renaissance Neoplatonism. His major work is De perenni philosophia (1540).
