Introduction
David Paré is an academic and prominent family therapist based at the University of Ottawa. With a consistent focus on practice, he has authored or edited extensive publications, including 4 books and over 50 journal articles, book chapters, and conference proceedings. In addition, he has been invited to offer extensive conference and workshop presentations from 1994 to the present. He has also been very active behind the scenes contributing to the development of the field through organizing and coordinating various conferences and serving on the editorial boards of numerous journals (including Journal of Systemic Therapies and Canadian Journal of Counselling and Psychotherapy).
