Early Life and Educational Background
Holden was born on April 10, 1988 in Cary, North Carolina. He earned his B.S. in Psychology from Western Carolina University in 2010 and his M.A. in Psychology from the same institution in 2012. He earned his Ph.D. in Psychology from Oakland University under the direction of Virgil Zeigler-Hill.
Professional Career
Holden has taught at Western Carolina University since 2016. As a graduate student, and throughout his early career, Holden has authored over 20 publications. These publications have appeared in journals such as Personality and Social Psychology Bulletin, Evolutionary Psychology, Personality and Individual Differences, and Archives of Sexual Behavior.
Research Interests
