Definitions
Charity is a type of nonprofit organization that is focused on fixing social problem of people who have no possibility to cover the full cost of social services that are delivered to them by the charity.
Donor is an individual (person, firm, other entity) who appreciates the social value generated by realization of the mission realized by nonprofit organizations. Such appreciation results in supporting nonprofit organizations by donor’s financial contributions, work, time, or other resources that can be spent to reach a better realization of the nonprofit organization’s mission.
