Follow-up MRI/MRA examinations at 2 months (a, b), 6 months (c, d), 12 months (e, f), and 24 months (g, h) after the flow diverter treatment of a large dissecting aneurysm. The follow-up examinations showed progressive thrombus formation inside the aneurysmal dome. T2WI (a, c, e, g) and T1WI (b, d, f, h) MRI images are shown. The changes in the MR signal intensity of the thrombus over time can be correlated to progressive organization of the thrombus. No ischemic changes were observed during this period of time
