Abstract

This is a case of a 64-year-old patient with incidentally diagnosed bilateral middle cerebral artery (MCA) bifurcation aneurysms. In March 2014, the right MCA aneurysm was treated with a WEB. Follow-up MRI examinations at 6 and 18 months showed a gradual increase in the aneurysm reperfusion owing to the WEB compression phenomenon. Three years after the WEB procedure, a pCONus2-assisted coil occlusion of the reperfused aneurysm was performed. Follow-up DSA 6 months later confirmed complete aneurysm occlusion. The management of recurrent aneurysms after WEB treatment is the main topic of this chapter.
