According to the report by the Ministry of Norway (1994), sustainable consumption and production (SCP) is defined as “the use of services and related products, which respond to basic needs and bring a better quality of life whilst minimising the use of natural resources and toxic materials as well as the emissions of waste and pollutants over the life cycle of the service or product so as not to jeopardise the needs of further generations.” According to McDonough and Braungart (2010), there is a need to transform the models for production processes, by giving more attention to environmental sustainability, which is really important, by considering the regenerative capacity of nature.
