Definitions
Green Finance – the financing of investments that provide environmental benefits in the broader context of environmentally sustainable development (G20 2016).
Sustainable Development Goals – the blueprint to achieve a better and more sustainable future for all. They address the global challenges faced by humanity, including those related to poverty, inequality, climate, environmental degradation, prosperity, and peace and justice.
Sustainable Finance – Sustainable finance can be broadly understood as financing as well as related institutional and market arrangements that contribute to the achievement of strong, sustainable, balanced, and inclusive growth, through supporting directly and indirectly the framework of the Sustainable Development Goals (G20 2018).
