Introduction
The Center of Reform on Economics (CORE Indonesia) is a nongovernment economic research institution based in Jakarta, Indonesia. The acronym is also a play on the word “core,” which is intended to mean that the think-tank organization aimed to solve economic problems at their core.
CORE Indonesia’s primary outputs are largely research-based, but they also have related services which they offer to consulting entities. These include public policy research, public policy education, public policy communication, regional development, industrial strategy, and business advisory. It focuses on the national economic issues affecting Indonesia, but at the same time taking into account international relations as well as its membership in the Association of Southeast Asian Nations (ASEAN) Economic Community.
