Zusammenfassung
Die gegenwärtige feministische Filmforschung zeichnet sich durch eine Vielfalt der Zugänge aus. Die verschiedenen Strömungen erklären die Entstehung filmisch-visueller Bedeutung bevorzugt über die Decodierung von Film als Text, über die Analyse (historischer) Produktions- und Rezeptionspraxen von Film oder über die Auseinandersetzung mit Filmerleben als materiellem, affektivem Phänomen.

Die Bezeichnung „Prosumer_in“ beschreibt hier Mediennutzer_innen, die von ihnen nachgefragte Inhalte (mit-)hervorbringen und kollaborativ zirkulieren lassen und so ein binäres Verständnis von (aktiver) Produktion und (passivem) Konsum potentiell in Frage stellen (Reichert 2008, S. 68–69).
