Die häufigsten Tumoren der Sellaregion sind die Hypophysenadenome. Darüber hinaus finden sich in dieser Lokalisation Kraniopharyngeome, Meningeome, Metastasen und seltenere nichtneoplastische Raumforderungen des Hypophysenstiels/Infundibulums wie Granulome oder Hamartome.
