Abstract

Corrective aesthetic dermatology has become an integral part of dermatology in recent decades. Dermatologists have significantly influenced and continuously developed a large number of aesthetic treatment techniques and surgical procedures. The treatment of wrinkles involves in particular injections with various injection materials and botulinum toxin A, chemical peeling, dermabrasion, and laser applications, as well as liposuction under tumescent local anesthesia with regard to body contouring procedures.
