Basic Biographical Information
Lisa Ackerman served as Interim CEO of World Monuments Fund through September 2019, after 11 years as Executive Vice-President and Chief Operating Officer of World Monuments Fund. She serves on the boards of Historic House Trust of New York City, New York Preservation Archive Project, and American Schools of Oriental Research. Previously she served on the boards of US/ICOMOS and Partners for Sacred Places. She previously served as Executive Vice-President of the Samuel H. Kress Foundation. Ms. Ackerman is a Visiting Assistant Professor at Pratt Institute Graduate Center for Planning and the Environment.
Major Accomplishments
In 2007, Lisa Ackerman received the Historic District Council’s Landmarks Lion Award. In 2008, she was named the first recipient of the US/ICOMOS Ann Webster Smith Award for International Heritage Achievement (Fig. 1).
